So on my birthday I received a message from Addis saying, "Hey Gabby, why don't you go to a make-up artist, get your face beat and come by the studio to take some birthday photos." Anybody who knows me knows that's not my thing in the slightest, but for some reason I just decided to get outside of myself and do something different.
I am so so happy I did this because now that special day is crystalized in history by these awesome photos taken by an awesome photographer. Thanks Addis Huyler for taking me out of my comfort zone and giving me a birthday experience I will not soon forget! 😊😌🤩

I’m a naturally shy guy contrary to how I present in social settings. Addis was incredibly good at putting me at ease from the moment we met. He has this way of getting you comfortable through dialogue which lead to many shots where the smiles captured are genuine. He even took the time to teach me a bit about capturing images and allowed me to get behind the camera and practice taking photos too. Because of this demonstration I also had a better understanding of finding my light and my angles. Not every photographer would allow you this opportunity and because of it we captured some really awesome shots. I’ve worked with Addis three times and each time he brings a confidence and professionalism that reminds me that I’m in good hands and my pictures will be awesome. I’ve been happy to introduce others to Addis’s work and to highlight my favorites on my social media pages. The images are beautiful and the moments captured just perfect. It's hard to believe that much of what we captured were unedited. That’s just how good he is! Addis just goes above and beyond for his craft, creativity and his client and I’m for sure looking forward to the next time I get to be in front of his camera. He is not just professional and superbly talented, he’s fun to work with, never obtrusive, always smiling and seemed to be truly enjoying the photoshoot.
